Regardless of whether you watch the "Instant Star" TV show or not, the "Songs From Instant Star" CD is worth a listen. It
has some very good songs on it. Alexz Johnson is an excellent singer and I hope to hear more CD's from her in the future, independent of "Instant Star". If you do watch the "Instant Star" TV show, you can get a better understand of the lyrics of the songs. For example, the song "(Under my) Skin" was written by Alexz's character Jude after
Jude discovered her character's (Jude's) father having an affair. The song was Jude's way of creatively expressing her feelings. |
