Scroll down and click through the Musicians Index and you'll see most of the CD's that I have on my CD shelf. (There are no music files for download on this website; go elsewhere for that.)

Over the past couple of years, my CD collection has grown to over 100 CD's. These are actual CD's that I purchased. I feel it's very important to support our musicians. I don't download "free" music.

When you go through my list, you might think that it's a wide range of genres. Yes it is. I feel that it's important to experience a wide range of music. There's at least one gem on each of these CD's. And some of the CD's are marvelous works of refined art from beginning to end, such as Norah Jones' Come Away With Me.

And be sure to check out some of the newer musicians, such as Amanda Stott and Theresa Sokyrka. I also enjoy listening to some of the "oldies" such as ABBA, Buddy Holly and Ray Charles. And then there's the balance offered by classical violin and piano music, such as Mozart, Liszt and Chopin. In contrast to classical, there's Alanis Morissette and Avril Lavigne who have some very good songs ("So-Called Chaos" and "I'm with You"); listen to the lyrics and you'll see.

If you were to ask me who my top 10 favorite musicians are, I'd say Norah Jones, Amanda Stott, LeAnn Rimes, Richard Julian, Diana Krall, Celine Dion, Laura Pausini, Michelle Branch, Alexz Johnson and Shania Twain. That list is, of course, always in flux.

Latest Additions:

Latest additions to my CD shelf include:

The Chronicles of Narnia (Audio CD box set)

Although it's not a music CD, the latest addition is "The Chronicles of Narnia (Audio CD box set)". This seven-volume set is unabridged audio CD's of all seven books in the "The Chronicles of Naria" series by author C. S. Lewis, of which "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is but one of the seven books in the series. In total, there are nearly 31 hours of audio in this box set. Each volume is read by a different reader; readers include Lynn Redgrave, Patrick Stewart, and others. This is an excellent edition and I highly recommend it. Read more...
